What are members required to do?
Rosters
Each member is required to attend two roster sessions per term. Rosters are organised using our membership database, Mibase, allowing members to select their own shifts once a roster is released. Members are asked to find their own replacement if, for some reason, they are unable to attend on their rostered day.
Stocktake
It is compulsory for all members to attend the annual stocktake, which involves checking and cleaning toys during a three hour shift on a day set by the Toy Library Committee. Stocktake happens around May each year and lots of details are provided in advance.
Annual General Meeting
It is a membership requirement for all members to attend the AGM, which is held towards the end of July each year. Members may be required to vote on important issues relevant to the running of the Greenwood Toy Library. It is a great opportunity to chat with the other members and also purchase out going toys at a bargain price during our Firesale!
Fundraising
As a not for profit members are asked to participate in fundraising activities to help generate extra funds for the toy library.
